# Emissions

Emissions are currently set at: 

* a rate of 40,000 tokens to be distributed per year
* Of which there will be 30,000 xGND and 10,000 GND
* This doesn't mean emissions will run out in a year and emissions will still be enabled until 100,000 Max supply is reached.
* Emissions split between xGND and GND to dynamically control inflation via buybacks and other deflationary mechanisms
